Chlöe Warner

Chlöe graduated from UCL in 2018 with a BA in French and English Literature. She studied French Literature in Paris for a year at the Sorbonne University. Chloe has recently graduated from Guildford School of Acting with an MA in Musical Theatre. She enjoys going to concerts and the theatre in her spare time. When she has the time, she loves to visit Paris and stroll around all her favourite places!

Nicole Cai

Nicole is a native Mandarin speaker from Beijing. She has been tutoring Mandarin since 2013 to students ranging from primary to master’s degree level. She encourages students to speak as much as possible via storytelling and role playing always integrating games to boost students’ interests and maintain their focus. In her spare time she enjoys playing badminton and making origami!

Liliana Caridade

Liliana is a native Portuguese speaker. She has been tutoring for over 10 years. She encourages her students to speak as much as possible and uses role play and games to boost student’s confidence by creating a fun and interactive environment. She enjoys sharing literature from good quality authors to develop comprehension and reading skills. Liliana likes to share her knowledge of Portuguese culture, as she believes this motivates the students and keeps them deeply connected with Portuguese language, which is greatly rooted in cultural and historical facts. She graduated as a primary teacher and has a master’s degree in socio and cultural animation and children studies. Liliana is currently teaching in year 5.

Lisa Ellermann

Lisa is currently studying Creative Musicianship at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance whilst also working on her personal artist project. Having lived in both Germany and America she grew up in a very multicultural environment. Teaching is a big passion of hers; she has been tutoring piano, singing and German to children of all age groups for more than 3 years. In her free time she loves to cook and go to the theatre.

Lauren Srotyr

Lauren graduated from the University of Exeter with a BA in French and Spanish including a year abroad spent in Paris and Murcia. After graduating last July, she went on to work in Madrid before settling in London to work for a charity. She has had prior teaching experience and can provide French and Spanish tutiton to all levels. In her spare time she loves to cycle, cook and discover different cultures.

Jamie Sayer

Jamie moved to Spain when he was 16, reaching a near native level before moving back to London to graduate from UCL with a 2.1 in French and Spanish, which included a year abroad studying in Lyon and Córdoba. Since then, he has gone on to set up a successful tuition service in Madrid for working professionals and university students, before using his languages working as a Spanish speaking Account Manager for global tech companies. Jamie can provide French and Spanish tuition to all levels, Maths to GCSE and English to 11+. In his spare time, Jamie likes to play football and the guitar, while also volunteering as an English teacher for a charity helping migrants and refugees with social and labour market integration.

Wendy is bilingual in English and in French and for the past two years has worked as a french language assistant at Blackfen School For Girls through the program of the British Council. She is also working with various tutoring agencies such as Kings Tutors, London Language Studio, Newman tuition and Strive Tutors. Wendy graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English in Language Literature and Civilisation at the University of Strasbourg in 2018. In parallel she took courses at the National Youth Theatre in London and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. Wendy’s first voiceover session was at the age of sixteen where the directors and producers from the “Beat Bullying movie” from the Council of Europe cast her to do voiceovers and act in English and in French. Wendy is am currently studying her Module 2 in the Meisner Technique with the Impulse Company and tutor in french full time.

Madeleine is currently doing a Masters in French Language, History and Culture at UCL having just finished her MFL PGCE at Secondary Level at the University of Oxford. Madeleine also completed her undergraduate with a First Class degree in French at the University of London Institute in Paris in 2019. She has experience teaching in secondary schools and have worked with students with dyslexia. Due to her French mother and therefore part French upbringing, Madeleine loves to bake and cook.
