Anthony

Anthony has been tutoring for Superior Learning for 4 years. In that time he has garnered extensive teaching experience at all levels in Maths and English up to Year 9. He is especially adept at guiding kids through the 7+, 8+, 11+ and Common Entrance exams. Anthony graduated with a degree in English Literature at the University of York achieving a 2:1, and later achieved a Masters Degree from the Royal Academy of Music.

Originally from South Africa, Alex graduated with 1st class honours in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds. He is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Cambridge, where he is looking to develop novel vaccines to combat cancer. Alex has over 4 years of tutoring experience, with a particular focus on Maths and Chemistry, from pre-GCSE up to A-level. Outside the classroom, Alex is a strong cricketer having represented the University of Leeds, the MCC, and Middlesex CCC.

Alice

Alice specialises in teaching English and Maths to students sitting 7+, 11+ and 13+ entrance exams and has considerable experience helping students gain entry into many different schools in London. Prior to this, Alice studied at Central School of Ballet, obtaining a First Class BA(Hons) degree in Professional Dance and Performance and A Levels in English Literature and French. She achieved all A*s in her subjects at GCSE. Alongside her career as a professional dancer, Alice has taught ballet to children of all ages (2-18 years) and understands the importance of meeting a student’s individual needs on any given day. She is a qualified Feldenkrais Practitioner (a somatic practice which calms the nervous system for optimal learning) which she has found invaluable for learning and teaching new skills. When not teaching, Alice enjoys reading, walking on the Heath, spending time with friends and working on her first collection of lyric essays.

Conor

Since graduating from Durham University with a BA in English Literature and Philosophy in 2017, Conor has been tutoring English across all age groups. He worked in the charity and film sectors immediately after university, before training and qualifying as a teacher. He currently works as a teacher of English, specialising in GCSE and A level Literature and Language, and is joint-head of department. His passion for the literary arts (and sports!) shine through in his sessions, which are always engaging and fun, as well as rigorous and productive.
