Our tutors come from a wide range of academic backgrounds. We work hard to look for tutors with not only extensive expertise but also a warm and approachable demeanour. For us, the relationship is as important as the subject knowledge and facilitates effective, superior learning.

Emma Cook

Emma Cook is currently studying Medicine at Kings College London, having finished an MSc in Cardiovascular Science and received 1st Class Honours in her Biomedical Sciences BSc, both at UCL. She loves to teach Maths and Science and has been tutoring a wide range of pupils for 3 years. She loves being outdoors, and in her spare time she is an active member of London’s Lowland Search and Rescue team!

Dilanniy Kannapiran

Dilaaniy Kannapiran is currently studying Medicine at Kings Collect having completed her degree in Pharmacology at UCL. Her preferred subjects to teach are English, Maths, Biology and Chemistry.

Astrid Harbour

Astrid Harbour is currently studying medicine, having finished a Biomedical Science BSc, both at King’s College London. She greatly enjoys teaching Maths, Science, and English and has been working with a wide range of children during her time at university. In her spare time she is a keen hockey player for her university hockey team.

Anthony Rickman

Anthony Rickman graduated with a degree in English Literature degree at the University of York achieving a 2:1. He is currently training in Musical Theatre at the Royal College of Music and is suited to teaching English to any level and Maths to Common Entrance.

Eve Finnie

Eve Finnie is a recent graduate from Oxford University with a 1st class BA (Hons) in Physics. She is currently working in set design and illustration but loves teaching Maths and Physics up to and including A level.

Cameron Roberts

James Stevenson

Having achieved his Bachelor of Science in Maths at Imperial College London, James went on to do his Masters in Environmental Technology. He is currently working for an environmental charity doing geospatial analysis and specialises in Maths and Science.

Harry Ward

Harry has tutored extensively over the last few years, focusing on English for all ages and Maths up to 11+. He prides himself on ensuring his sessions are varied, engaging and fun, helping students to take total ownership of their work and fulfil their learning potential. When he isn’t tutoring, he writes and directs for theatre, and is currently learning Korean.

Dillon Schoeneberg

Photini Georgallou

She is currently a Year 6 teacher in Central London and has experience tutoring for 11+ exams and SATS. Photini is suited to teaching English to all levels and Maths to GCSE level.

Jacob Bernard Banton

Jacob is an English Literature graduate from the University of Manchester and has three years experience tutoring privately. He specialises in A-Level and GCSE English, but also enjoys working with younger children to explore creative writing and help to better comprehend literature. In his spare time, he illustrates, sometimes writes freelance and plays guitar poorly.

Beth Rylance

Beth is an experienced tutor with over 5 years experience, teaching a wide range of subjects. She can tutor up to Common Entrance in both English and maths.  Outside of tutoring she works for The School Of Comedy running workshops aimed at building up children’s confidence.

Serge Bressloff

Yasemin Botterill

Annabelle Wang

She is suited to teaching Maths up to GCSE and English up to A level but also thoroughly enjoys tutoring a range of subjects to younger children.

Chey Chapman

Hana Merchant

Hana Merchant is a recent MSc graduate in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Queen Mary University of London, following a BSc (Hons) in Genetics. She is currently a Research Assistant at Queen Mary and is an experienced tutor in Maths, Science and English.

Jessica Franklin

Jessica Spivey

She has since spent a year in Paris, teaching English Language and Literature in an international school and getting the measure of the best patisserie. Nia McIntosh

She has an undergraduate degree in English Literature and Language and an MA in Cultural and Creative Industries, both from King’s College London. Rivani Shah

She is an experienced tutor who  specialises in teaching GCSE Science and 11+ maths. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the guitar and admiring London’s skyline.

Oliver Banatvala

Elowyn Stevenson

She now tutors German and English and works in museums around London, sharing her love of learning with all audiences.

Owen Sparkes

Tamsin Dyer

She’s a project manager who’s worked in Tech and Big Telecoms, with a passion for coaching and Learning and Development. In her spare time Orlagh loves to run, bake and bring her puppy for walks!

Liliana Caridade

Lilianna has a degree in Primary Education and a masters in Children’s Studies. She has been teaching in the UK for over 5 years and has been in the education sector for 12 years. She is fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish. Liliana is able to teach English and Maths for 11plus. In her free time she can be known to teach yoga!

Dom Bradley-Burke

Dominique graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a 2.1 in History. She accompanied her BA with a multitude of Creative Writing and English Literature courses and spends most of her free time with pen to paper. She tutors History and English Lit/Lang up to A-Level as well as the Common Entrance Exam in English and Maths.

Alex Palmer

Alex is an experienced tutor of English, maths, French and Music, having worked across Australia and the UK. He ran his own tutoring agency in Sydney for several years, with a focus on tutoring International Baccalaureate, A Level and local syllabuses. He completed undergraduate studies in music at the University of Cambridge and postgraduate studies at Berklee College of Music. He currently works on a range of projects for film, television, musical theatre and the concert hall.

Rebecca Gaebler

Rebecca is currently a year 3 teacher in Central London, who has also had previous experience teaching for primary SATs exams. She would be best suited to teach primary age children in all subject areas. Rebecca has a passion to make learning fun and enjoyable for all children.

Ben Dawes

Nicole Cai

Nicole Cai graduated from Imperial College London with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and achieved 2:1. She is a native Mandarin speaker from Beijing and she is also an experienced tutor with over 200 hours tutoring provided to students ranging from Year 5 to 13 (A-level). She enjoys not only teaching Mandarin, but also inspiring students with Chinese history, art and culture. Outside tutoring, she is an engineer working in transport industry in London, a dog lover, an origami enthusiast and a passionate cyclist.

Freya Everest

Alice McGurran

Lisa Ellermann

Lisa is currently studying Creative Musicianship at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance whilst also working on her personal artist project. Having lived in both Germany and America she grew up in a very multicultural environment. Teaching is a big passion of hers; she has been tutoring piano, singing and German to children of all age groups for more than 3 years. In her free time she loves to cook and go to the theatre.

Daniel Pilles

Dan graduated from Niagara College Canada with a diploma in Business Sales and Marketing. Following these he completed a post-graduate program in Environmental Management and Assessment. After leaving Canada he tutored and taught at private international British schools in Moscow, Russia and Alexandria, Egypt. He is a qualified primary teacher with a PGCE from the University of Sunderland in England. In his spare time you’ll find him either playing football or hiking and spending time in nature. A lover of the natural environment and a passionate advocate for green and sustainable initiatives.
