Superior learning are just brilliant – I have to say after having multiple tutors over the years for my 4 children I have dealt with the mission of trying to find a good fit for my kids and Matt is an expert, he has managed to find 9 tutors to home school my 17yr old, all of which are expectational – incredibly reliable and responsible – always communicative and keep to the impossible timetable of managing 9 GCSE’s online. We’ve had a number of different tutors from Superior Learning, and Matt has always managed to find a replacement where the tutors’ plans changed, or replaced them when I felt they weren’t a good fit for my children.

It’s a very well-organised and professional setup. The platform they use is brilliant, the payment process is seamless, and the tutor is great. My son has made great strides since working 1-2-1 with his tutor.

Having tried a few different tutoring companies I highly recommend Superior Learning. The learning needs of the child are always given priority and I’m so pleased that the tutors come in person and it’s not over a screen. So many companies operate everything remotely it’s difficult to see what you are getting! Great experience with a tutor for 11+

Great tutors and support from Matt and his team. The tutoring helped enormously with GCSE and A level exams and the pressure.

My son worked with two tutors from Superior Learning to build his confidence and skills in two core subjects. Both were excellent. They were reliable and professional, always coordinating times and topics in advance. He enjoyed working with them. Each had an enthusiasm for the subject and experience working at a high level. Superior Learning made arranging the sessions and paying the tutors easy and efficient. I – and my son – would highly recommend them.

My daughter had a very positive experience with her English tutor, Conor. He was always very professional and well prepared for each lesson, often going over and above to meet her needs and ensure lesson objectives had been met. Following each lesson he provided detailed feedback, relevant homework and was clear on the next steps. Overall I would highly recommend Conor as a tutor. No matter what grades she achieves I know she went into each exam well prepared and feeling confident which is largely thanks to him.

Top-notch, impactful tutors! We have used Superior over the years for 11-plus exams tutoring and more recently for specific GCSE subjects. The tutors that Superior have been very engaging with our children, making the learning fun for their ages. They are, of course very knowledgable in their subjects and they are polite and courteous when we have had them to our house. We have also used Superior tutors online and their methods and tools are equally impactful. Compared with other tutoring companies in our area, I think Superior offers better value while providing excellent tutors.

Serge is working out really well for Leo. They have a really nice relationship, Serge is friendly, calm and conscientious. Leo jumped a grade in his mock from where he was at before and if he stays there or gets a higher grade in the real thing we’d be very happy.

Our daughter really liked her tutor and was keen to learn and do her best for her. Connie was flexible and patient and our daughter did really well in her 11plus, partly due to her help!

Matt was great at finding the right tutors straight away and went through the process thoroughly and was always to hand with any questions I had. Superior has transformed my son’s academic life! He is dyslexic and was slightly below average his entire academic career. That is up to year 5 when we found SL. In six months he was running with the pack. He performed way better than expected on the 11+ and now at the end of year 7, he’s in the top third of his class. I shouldn’t be reviewing bc I need these guys for my younger son now too

We have had a fantastic experience with Superior Learning. Our son fell behind due to the disruption of COVID and since commencing his tuition we have seen a significant improvement in not only his school work but also, more importantly, his confidence and attitude. The tutors we have dealt with for our children have been very organised with clear plans for the lessons and have quickly identified the areas which need work. Matt and his team are super helpful and responsive to your tutor needs and very flexible if you want to tweak things along the way. We have two very bright students who are reliable and know their stuff. If there’s one piece of constructive criticism, I’d say that I would prefer the tutors to offer more regular feedback not only on my child’s progress and engagement but on the content of the sessions so we can make sure the learning from school and tutor is joined up.

We have used Superior Learning for all 3 of our kids, who are completely different in their approach, maturity and natural abilities. Working with tutors at Superior Learning we’ve been able to map out a road to success to reach our desired goals, one step at a time. I have witnessed a complete turnaround with my oldest daughter, who in Year 4 decided that she was “English but not Maths” and had a very poor attitude towards improving her Maths performance. Working (and always having energetic fun!) with Superior Learning tutors, she learned to see Maths from an entirely different angle, to enjoy the puzzles and challenges, the exact nature and formulas, see the relevance to other subjects that interested her. Maths became part of her life and she’s a very strong performer in Year 9 now. My younger kids saw how much fun she was having along the way and actually asked to work one on one with the tutors. Superior Learning Mock exams We have had nothing but a great experience from the start. The teachers are incredibly involved, very supportive in a kind, firm and nurturing way. Exam time is a stressful time for the the children however with Superior Learning my daughter has only had fun! She has improved her results from one mock exam to the next. I would 100% recommend Superior Learning if you have a child getting ready for 11+ Or any other exam.
